The Bone Marrow Foundation
When he was just 4 years old, my son was diagnosed with cancer. Despite
the doctors best efforts to cure him with traditional methods he ultimately
needed a bone marrow transplant. My family and I turned to the The Bone
Marrow Foundation®. The foundation was founded in 1992 with "a single
vital goal: to improve the quality of life for children and adults who
are undergoing transplantation as a life saving treatment for Leukemia"
and other diseases of the blood. All of The Bone Marrow Foundation's®
services are offered free to patients and their families. When my son
was ill the support and knowledge we received from this wonderful organization
was invaluable.
